Task 14

1. Celie admires Shug, when she sees her picture she thinks she Shug is the most beautiful women she has ever seen, even prettier than her mother. Celie also dreams about her at night, and she thinks Shug is really special and that she is 'thankful to lay eyes on her'. 2. Shug sings a song about Celie with much emotion, so you can see that she has also interest in Celie. 

Task 13

1. A young boy asks his mother if he can go downtown to march the streets of Birmingham for freedom. His mother won't let him go because she thinks it's too dangerous, and suggests that he goes to the church instead. When his mother is getting ready to go to church, she hears an explosion. She is crying and calling for her child, but she only finds his shoe. 2. copy of the poem: The rich are getting richer Their golden goblets are overflowing Drenched with best that life can offer Their future is ever so bright Illuminated by their multimillion bank accounts Their rides are ever so shining Polished by the best butlers The poor are drowning in poverty Their hopes plunged into a dark abyss Overpowered by the weight of capitalism Their dreams submerged in hopelessness Their hands full of bread crumbs They scramble among themselves Pushing and shoving one another Drenched in a layer of bitterness Death is never too far From their battered life Inequality, the monster in the room

Task 12

Dear Future, There is something that has been on my mind for quite some time now. When I think about what the future will bring us in a few years, I feel anxious. This is because technology is taking over our lives. People are losing interest in books, because new digital developments take their significance away. I think  books are very important pieces of our history and society. At first, because reading  books is really important for our education. You can't compare it with learning on a computer, because the information on the internet is not always correct. Books are always checked for mistakes before they are published, and are therefore more reliable. Secondly, reading a book gives you a feeling that no iPad or ebook can replace. You can get lost in the story, live in another world for a moment. If you finish a book, you get the feeling like you really accomplished something. At last, paper books are yours for life. They last for a long time, and they can also be physical
